There are a lot of opportunities in Accounting and, of course, a lot of money to make if you decide to make it as your career job. Also, it can help you a lot in the future if you have any money issues, in your business or personal life. Most of the people who chose Accounting as their professional career job can say how much it helped them in their future plans and the baggage of experience that it has given them. Becoming an Accountant is just the beginning, there are a lot of things more interesting that comes with it.

1. The growth of your social network

Meeting new people and interact with them is one the things that makes Accounting such a good field of study. It is all about teamwork and creating good relationships with the people you study with, it forges links and makes the process of learning so much easier. In the future, you may work with one of those people, or one of them will maybe help you out when you go through tough times in your life. It is all about the others and not only the individual, that is one thing you need in your life.

2. Be an organized person

Being an Accountant is not only about operating money or making a Balance Sheet, it's also about being an organized person who makes things correctly and on time. It helps you in many different aspects in life like, making a budget, paying your taxes and helps you take good decisions before making one. 3. Develops leadership

One of the things you learn by being an Accountant is the ability of becoming a leader. You have to make decisions quickly and show the people around you that you are a boss in what you do. Becoming independent is also something that comes by itself when you develop your leadership. It pushes all the people around you to follow your lead and helps them to put their trust on you.

4. Make a lot of money

If there is one field of study that you can make a lot of money, it's Accounting. Most of the people who work as an Accountant has another job, either they work for their own little business, or they are teacher in a school. Specially if you have your own little business, doing your Balance Sheet or Income Statement helps you make your own budget so that any expenses are well managed and controlled and all to know all your assets and liabilities. If you go to university and become a CPA, most of the jobs you can find pays more or are mostly in the six numbers.

Conclusion

To conclude, there are a lot of good professions that you can choose in the future. But what people are really looking for it's a profession with a lot of job opportunities. What is the point of studying in something if you know it will be difficult after finding a job when it's time to find one? Accounting opens a lot of doors and finding a job in this particular program will be a piece of cake.

Accounting glossary

1. Assets
          An economic ressource that is expected to be or benefit in the future. Probable future economic benefits obtained as a result of past transactions or events. Anything of value to which the firm has a legal claim. Any owned tangible or intangible object having economic value useful to the owner.

2. Balance
         Basic finacial statement, usually accompanied by appropriate disclosures that describe the basics of accounting used in its preparation and presentation of a specified date the entity's asset's, liabilities and the equety of its owners. Also known as a statement of financial condition.

3. Dividends
Distribution of earnings to owners of a cororation in cash, other assets of the corporation, or the corporation's capital stock.

4. Equety
          Residual interest in the assets of an entity that remains after deducting its liabilities. Also, the amount of a business' total assets less total liabilities. Also, the third section of a balance sheet, the other two being assets and liabilities.

5. FOB Destination
        A shipping term that means that the seller bears transportation costs to the place of delivery.

6. FOB Shipping point
A shipping term that means that the buyer bears transportation costs from the point of origin.

7. Income Statement
Summary of the effect of revenues and expenses over a period of time.

8. Liability
Debts obligations owed by one entity (debtor) to another entity (creditor) payable in money, goods, or services.

9. Petty cash
          A small amount of cash that a company keeps on hand to pay for minor expenses in an office.

10. Receivables
          Amounts of money due from customers or other debtors.

11.Revenues
Sales of products, merchandise, and services; and earnings from interest, dividend, rents.

For those who studies Accounting, they know there is a lot of things to learn in economy and many different aspects that we can look out, all around the world. One of the reasons I chose this article is that we talk about two of the world's most powerful country in economy, China and the United States of America. Over the century, China didn't stop growing as one of the biggest economy platform in the world.

Lately, we heard in the news that for the first time, China had more billionaires than the United States of America. It's quite surprising when you think of it. Also, everything that is made in China are in fact, source of big profits. Outside of the top 10, manufacturing is one of the most frequent industries of the Hurun rich list member. Second, you need to live in one of the those cities, Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen. Finally, social media fans makes a huge influence on billionaires, most of them have a large number of followers in social media.

This website gives you a lot of tools on how to manage your little business and helps you learn many aspects on the economy, which is great because, my field of study is accounting.
